Rattles - A Native American rattle is a musical instrument, often made from natural materials and are often adorned with beads, feathers, fur, fringe, paint, and symbols like bears or eagles.

They are used in ceremonies, music, dance, and spiritual practices. They are also significant symbols of tribal identity and cultural traditions. Rattles can represent the three kingdoms of nature: animal, mineral, and plant, with the container, rocks, and handle symbolizing these aspects, respectively.
